Bweeter has shutdown, as of March 15th, 2026

Why?

There are a few reasons why Bweeter has shutdown:

• BetterMode (which Bweeter used) has removed their free plan, which we were using. We can't switch to a paid plan because they charge an outrageous amount ($499/month at minimum).
• It was cool to have, but it was never really popular, and we don't have the resources to maintain it.
• We want to focus on other projects that we think are more important.

What about my data?

BetterMode will delete all data relating to Bweeter on May 14th, 2026 (60 days after shutdown). They do not provide an option for exporting your data, so if you'd like save data, you will have to do so manually (screenshots, copy and paste, etc).

What's next?

We don't have any plans to bring back Bweeter in the near future. However, we are currently working on a new service, ButterDog Chat Ultra Deluxe. Join our Discord to learn more and stay up to date.
